Shiny Snorunt is Snorunt's shiny form: a different colour, and stronger, with 30% more health and move damage than a normal Snorunt. Shinies are the strongest Pokémon in the game.
How rare it is
Every Snorunt you defeat on a map has a 1 in 2,500 chance to drop Shiny Snorunt. A hunting chain on Snorunt makes it up to 4× likelier, and the Shiny Charm 1.5×.
Where to find it
Beat Snorunt on these maps (a shiny sometimes defends a map itself, stronger than its kind):
| Map | Region | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Shoal Cave | Hoenn | 65 |
Evolving it
A shiny evolves into the next form's shiny, which is rarer, so it also needs Glimmer Stones:
- Evolves into Shiny Glalie with 3 Glimmer Stones, on top of what Snorunt needs
- Evolves into Shiny Froslass with 3 Glimmer Stones, on top of what Snorunt needs
Past level 100
A shiny never becomes a Nightmare form: at 5★ and level 100 it Ascends instead, keeping its shine and its name, and climbs the Nightmare ranks to level 999. See The Nightmare World.
