Your Pokédex counts every species you've ever owned, and its Shiny Dex every one you've had shiny. Complete them for medals:
| Medal | For | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Region Pokédex | Every Pokémon of a region, owned at least once | Rare Held Item Box, 5× Ribbons, 5,000× Pokédollars |
| Region shinies | Every shiny of a region in your Shiny Dex | 2× Glimmer Stone, 2× Rare Held Item Box, 10× Ribbons |
| National Pokédex | Every Pokémon in the game, owned at least once | 3× Glimmer Stone, 20× Ribbons and the Shiny Charm |
The Shiny Charm makes every shiny chance 1.5× as likely, for good: see Shinies.
When new Pokémon are added to a region, its total grows: a medal you already claimed stays yours.
