Shiny Skarmory is Skarmory's shiny form: a different colour, and stronger, with 30% more health and move damage than a normal Skarmory. Shinies are the strongest Pokémon in the game.
How rare it is
Every Skarmory you defeat on a map has a 1 in 15,000 chance to drop Shiny Skarmory. A hunting chain on Skarmory makes it up to 4× likelier, and the Shiny Charm 1.5×.
Where to find it
Beat Skarmory on these maps (a shiny sometimes defends a map itself, stronger than its kind):
| Map | Region | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Olivine Gym (Jasmine) | Johto | 44 |
| Fortree Gym (Winona) | Hoenn | 58 |
| Champion Steven | Hoenn | 67 |
Past level 100
A shiny never becomes a Nightmare form: at 5★ and level 100 it Ascends instead, keeping its shine and its name, and climbs the Nightmare ranks to level 999. See The Nightmare World.
