Shiny Misdreavus is Misdreavus's shiny form: a different colour, and stronger, with 30% more health and move damage than a normal Misdreavus. Shinies are the strongest Pokémon in the game.
How rare it is
Every Misdreavus you defeat on a map has a 1 in 15,000 chance to drop Shiny Misdreavus. A hunting chain on Misdreavus makes it up to 4× likelier, and the Shiny Charm 1.5×.
Where to find it
Beat Misdreavus on these maps (a shiny sometimes defends a map itself, stronger than its kind):
| Map | Region | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Ecruteak Gym (Morty) | Johto | 56 |
| Lost Tower | Sinnoh | 66 |
Evolving it
A shiny evolves into the next form's shiny, which is rarer, so it also needs Glimmer Stones:
- Evolves into Shiny Mismagius with 1 Glimmer Stone, on top of what Misdreavus needs
Past level 100
A shiny never becomes a Nightmare form: at 5★ and level 100 it Ascends instead, keeping its shine and its name, and climbs the Nightmare ranks to level 999. See The Nightmare World.
