Shiny Kricketot is Kricketot's shiny form: a different colour, and stronger, with 30% more health and move damage than a normal Kricketot. Shinies are the strongest Pokémon in the game.
How rare it is
Every Kricketot you defeat on a map has a 1 in 2,500 chance to drop Shiny Kricketot. A hunting chain on Kricketot makes it up to 4× likelier, and the Shiny Charm 1.5×.
Where to find it
Beat Kricketot on these maps (a shiny sometimes defends a map itself, stronger than its kind):
| Map | Region | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Cortondo Gym (Katy) | Paldea | 83 |
Evolving it
A shiny evolves into the next form's shiny, which is rarer, so it also needs Glimmer Stones:
- Evolves into Shiny Kricketune with 2 Glimmer Stones, on top of what Kricketot needs
Past level 100
A shiny never becomes a Nightmare form: at 5★ and level 100 it Ascends instead, keeping its shine and its name, and climbs the Nightmare ranks to level 999. See The Nightmare World.
