Shiny Ivysaur is Ivysaur's shiny form: a different colour, and stronger, with 30% more health and move damage than a normal Ivysaur. Shinies are the strongest Pokémon in the game.
How rare it is
Every Ivysaur you defeat on a map has a 1 in 6,000 chance to drop Shiny Ivysaur. A hunting chain on Ivysaur makes it up to 4× likelier, and the Shiny Charm 1.5×.

Evolving it
A shiny evolves into the next form's shiny, which is rarer, so it also needs Glimmer Stones:
- Evolves from Shiny Bulbasaur with 1 Glimmer Stone
- Evolves into Shiny Venusaur with 3 Glimmer Stones, on top of what Ivysaur needs
Past level 100
A shiny never becomes a Nightmare form: at 5★ and level 100 it Ascends instead, keeping its shine and its name, and climbs the Nightmare ranks to level 999. See The Nightmare World.
