Shiny Cryogonal is Cryogonal's shiny form: a different colour, and stronger, with 30% more health and move damage than a normal Cryogonal. Shinies are the strongest Pokémon in the game.
How rare it is
Every Cryogonal you defeat on a map has a 1 in 40,000 chance to drop Shiny Cryogonal. A hunting chain on Cryogonal makes it up to 4× likelier, and the Shiny Charm 1.5×.
Where to find it
Beat Cryogonal on these maps (a shiny sometimes defends a map itself, stronger than its kind):
| Map | Region | Level |
|---|---|---|
| Icirrus Gym (Brycen) | Unova | 64 |
| Snowbelle Gym (Wulfric) | Kalos | 71 |
Past level 100
A shiny never becomes a Nightmare form: at 5★ and level 100 it Ascends instead, keeping its shine and its name, and climbs the Nightmare ranks to level 999. See The Nightmare World.
